I spent part of the weekend compiling all of the links/sites that I’ve accumulated over the last little while. Fifteen pages and counting! There is just SO MUCH available on the internet! Teachers could easily spend the entire summer holiday immersed in trying to catch up with all of the great tools that are available for the classrooms!
I thought that I would share a few of the sites that I encountered:
- Befunky (http://www.befunky.com/) – this is a neat graphic site! If you check out the ‘About Me’ page, you’ll see a picture that I doctored with Befunky. Very intuitive and FREE!!
- Do you need to create a character for your Language Arts/English stories? Check the following – http://www.ugo.com/games/superhero-generator-heromachine-2-5
- Looking for Apps for your iPad? Check out this link – over 1300 to choose from!!! http://appitic.com/
- This is one of my favorite sites. It’s from the Miniclip site and it’s called Word Vine! I think this would be a great Language Arts tool. You have to check it out for yourself and see how you could fit it in – http://www.miniclip.com/games/word-vine/en/.
